Ukrainian culture celebrated on Tuesday 27 June 2023 at the Castle of La Hulpe its richness and diversity spanning a living bridge between East & West – A strong impulsion of Slavonic togetherness towards the building of a future Europe
In the presence of Ms Kateryna BILOTIL, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and with participation of Ms Olga NAGORNA, soprano from the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv, a vast and artistically rich and highly diversified concert evening in honour of Ukrainian culture took place yesterday at the Château de La Hulpe near Brussels with more the 150 international guests from Ukraine, Belgium and many other countries. Musicians from Ukraine and from Belgium presented Ukrainian, French, German and Italian music showing their variety and displaying their capacity to cross cultural borders in Europe – spanning a bridge between East and West in our dramatic and cruel times. Moreover, this evening was a new initiative of SLAVONIC EUROPE and the ASSOCIATION OF UKRAINIANS IN BELGIUM proving once again and developing further their strong partnership and friendship – a new Slavonic contribution for a strong and resilient European future.
