Holistic formation of the human being as the basis and the outset of creativity
EDUCATION is the basis of every free and creative society. It is the condition of all necessary cultural standards our civilisation has achieved and is built on since the times of the Ancient Greece and of Byzantium. Today, equipped with the means of the 21st century, EDUCATION has got a new importance in an fast changing world, where people need ever more information and orientation in order to keep the direction and safeguard one’s spiritual autonomy.
EDUCATION is one of the four thematic sectors of the SLAVONIC NEW WAVE (SNW) Framework Programme. It consists of individual concrete projects representing the actual potential of the SNW in the domain of EDUCATION and shaping in this way the overall cultural profile of the SLAVONIC EUROPE Movement.

The SWL 2021 Digital Platform is the digital part of the SLAVONIC WORLD (SWL) project dichotomy:
The project is set up as a vast media and communication campaign being a door opener to the SLAVONIC WORLD of LITERATURE, ARTS, SCIENCE & INNOVATION. The aim of the project is propagation, dissemination, instruction & vulgarisation of the Slavonic civilisation achievements at a very broad European and international level.
In its digital form it is a precursory and accompanying project of the analogue-physical Multimedia Presentation of Slavonic culture foreseen at a later stage in several specific locations around the world. It will illustrate in today’s digital form the pedagogical methods of Jan Ámos KOMENSKÝ – COMENIUS (1592 – 1670) as a vision of his object-oriented teaching and learning approach of the modern age defined and published in his path-breaking work ORBIS SENSUALIUM PICTUS – The Painted World of Sensual Things (1658) – transformed into the 21st century.
