LUSATIA GLOW
PRESS CONFERENCE & WORKSHOP
PRESENTING A NEW SOLUTION TO THE EUROPEAN INTEGRATION
THE LUSATIAN SORBS / WENDS:
CROSS-BORDER MINORITIES AS THE CONNECTING SYNAPSES OF A NEW EUROPEAN GRASSROOTS INTEGRATION MODEL
GERMANY – CZECH REPUBLIC – POLAND
A NEW PARADIGM OF SMART INTEGRATION
The foundation of the EU after the World War II war was the result of the catastrophic confrontation between chauvinistically acting national states in the 19th and 20th centuries, competing for cultural dominance, international influence, and economic resources at the global level.
The LUSATIA GLOW (LG) Initiative represents a profound paradigm change: It intends to strengthen the cross-border connectivity of regional cultures, as transnational cohesion synapses based on one common language or dialectal continuum as a cross-border communication instrument of a innovative multidimensional bottom-up grassroots EU Integration model.
The LUSATIA GLOW (LG) Project, which starts from the Lusatian 3-country-triangle between Germany, Poland and Czech Republic will be officially launched and presented to the European public and the EU decision makers in the framework of a
